Outstanding steel wire ropes to work “in tandem”
The Gorgon Project is one of the world's largest natural gas projects and the largest single resource development in Australia. Redaelli contributed to Gorgon with an innovative one-time project: Caley Ocean Systems installed on Sapura 3000, a vessel of Subsea7’s fleet, a Tandem Deepwater Lowering System, which will be dismantled at the end of the project. The customers chose Redaelli because of their capabilities to design and manufacture specialty non-rotating - nearly 6-km-long – steel wire ropes for subsea operations in very deep waters.
