This high contrast steel wire rope has been especially developed by Redaelli to have an additional support to the already existing warning devices against alpine bird collisions.
The rope meets the contents and aims of the Italian–French Alcotra project “Alpin Birds”.
This special steel wire ropes is composed of alternate bright and galvanized strands, which ensure a high chromatic contrast that is highly visible. This characteristics is an additional plus on Redaelli’s steel wire ropes for aerial cableways applications. It can be applied to all types of 6 strand constructions.
The wire rope has been already certified and installed with high success on several installations in Italy.
It is registered and covered by requests for international patent (BMU, INPI, IFPI, GM).
